Premier Wen said the Paralympics provide a stage for disabled athletes to show their spirit, and encourage the world to pay more attention to disabled people. Wen Jiabao has promised that China will put as much effort into the Paralympic Games as went into the Olympics. He said China and Poland have expanded mutual cooperation in recent years, saying he appreciates Poland's long support for the one-China policy. Wen said China is willing to work with Poland to promote bilateral ties to a new level.

Pawlak congratulated China for the success of the Olympics, and wished the same for the Paralympics. He also expressed hope that Poland will enhance cooperation with China.
