Very interesting, except with one LARGE exception. Germans also used horse-mounted soldiers against Poland. Yes, we used Cavalry against tanks in one battle, however what dumb Americans fail to mention is that the fact the horses were used to pull Artilery cannons and other heavy guns. Poland did have its own tanks, but they were no match for the modern German fleet of heavy main battle tanks. I am by no means taking credit from German troops who fought against Poland at the time, but those who fought the initial 3-day assault remember one thing: 700 Polish crack troops, held 42,000 German troops, 350 tanks, and artillery for 3 DAYS!!! before they were wiped out.
Tell me that was not an incredible fighting spirit and accomplishment!

BTW, those 700-to-42,000 figures can be verified with Congressional Library records!
